After searching for new opportunities to apply its experience from its work in the petrochemical sector, Grupo Lwart identified the specialized asphalt sector as an ideal option for diversifying its business.
Evolution of product lines to meet market needs
From this entrepreneurial vision, Lwart Química began its activities in 1997 with a set of differentiated and patented technology for asphalt modification. Its asphalt possesses specific technical characteristics such as: excellent adherence, impermeability, flexibility under high and low temperatures, low thermal-acoustic conductivity, bonding, low cold flow, glossiness, among others. Because of these attributes, it can be utilized in different ways for different types of applications.
Growth and a professionalization of the waterproofing market has resulted in an ever increasing demand for more products with improved performance. Lwart Química has extensive knowledge about asphalts, polymers, resins and acrylics that make up its waterproofing products – all of which meet ABNT standards (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards).
